The #SponsoredByBigTobacco report is full of eye-opening numbers at how pervasive tobacco industry advertisements are on social media, saturating the feeds of young people.

COP10 marks an important moment for Parties to the WHO FCTC to take further action to effectively ban or restrict and enforce social media advertising of tobacco products. This will take place in Panama City, Panama February 5-10, 2024.

Together, we can draw focus to this issue by telling the stories of real people affected by Big Tobacco’s targeting online. With the spotlight on the issue during COP, we have the perfect opportunity to make a splash and bring attention to the findings of this important report, and drive real change.
